Is a fashion & textile designer, an artist and a colour specialist. She has a deegree from Beckmans School of Design in Stockholm 1989-93 and has a MA degree from Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design in London 2001-03. Since 1994 she is working with fashion, textiles and art, mainly from her base in Stockholm.
Since 2001 she is researching the symbolism of colours as well as the impact of colour on the human body and mind from the philosophical psychological and emotional point of view. This research has resulted in a series of conceptual projects and experiments.
Since 2006 Joanna is working under the umbrella name
CHROMOPHILIA, an art and design concept.
